 * Looking for a fix to my big mistake.
 * All of my posts were:
 * [http://blog.domain.com/sitename/post](http://blog.domain.com/sitename/post) 
   name
 * But I goofed and migrated all to:
 * [http://blog.domain.com/postname](http://blog.domain.com/postname)
 * I omitted the sitename.
 * I don’t want to have to redirect each of 900 posts individually.
 * Huge thank you for any help

 * I paid someone to do it. Not very much, but a professional
 * I’m sure it was the simple, common method.
 * Went from TypePad to WordPress. All posts, pages, and comments were migrated.
 * They did it correctly – as far as I can tell. Do you think I should ask them 
   to fix this? I gave them the old URL and the new. Should they have noticed that
   there was a permalink difference? I am confused and worried.
 * I can provide url if that would help.

 * They should have noticed, yes. You can either put in an .htaccess redirect /sitename/
   to the URL without, or you can edit your permalinks to put it back in.
 * I would ask them to fix it, since they were paid for it.

 * I guess putting it back in is the easy way out – if they cannot/will not fix 
   problem.
