# Migration in progress – endless loop?

 * Unfortunately, it is migrating forever. and there are no items to migrate.
    how
   can I resolve this? 0 events migrated 0 remaining

 * Endless loops are usually no fun and I am sorry to hear you are experiencing 
   an issue migrating your events.
 * The first thing I would do is check out our guide to [troubleshooting migrating events](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/migrating/#Troubleshooting)
   if you have not done so already. The very top section of the link covers your
   issue.
 * If none of the steps recommended in the top section work, I would also try …
    - Make sure you are using a location-based timezone for your website.
    - Deactivate third-party plugins, especially any that involve caching.
    - Review the problematic event(s) and look for missing or corrupted data, particularly
      around dates, times, and recurrence options. Fix any data issues and re-save
      the event.

 * If you had noticed my post it said there was Zero events. So there was nothing
   to migrate yet it was still trying to migrate. Luckily I was able to finally 
   get it to cancel and then I reinstalled the plug-in and it seems to be working
   okay right now
