# Migration Issues

 * Trying to migrate to a new instance of wordpress. Used the import/export WP tool
   but the files are not linking correctly. I also moved the uploads/dlm_uploads
   files in the back end to no avail. Need things to migrate as they were on the
   old instance of wordpress to a new dev site.

 * The best way to migrate is to do a complete database export and then import it
   to the new site. If this is not possible, then you can use our following plugins:

   [https://www.download-monitor.com/extensions/csv-importer/](https://www.download-monitor.com/extensions/csv-importer/)
 * Please note the files will not be exported or imported. You will need to setup
   them manually.
