# Migration issues from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

 * Hi!
 * I have migrated my posts and drafts and comments from wordpress.com twice – both
   times, only 151 out of my 157 posts have migrated. I have exported the file twice
   to be sure that I was getting everything.
 * Reconciling the posts, I have identified that the 6 latest posts are missing.
   Does anyone have any insight as to why these are missing?
 * My version is 2.7.1, and my blog is hosted on bluehost.com

 * The way I resolved this was as described in the link. I had to break up the .
   xml file into 2 parts. Make sure to grab the <rss> and the <channel> tags at 
   the start and end, and all the remaining <item> tags in the middle of the above
   2.
 * Ofcourse, don’t forget to close the tagseither! 🙂
