Migration stuck during media copy

    My migration tool hangs when copying uploads. Database finishes, but media transfer never completes. Is there a chunk size or resume option?

    Hello,

    Please apply the following WPvivid settings and try running the auto-migration task again.

    General settings:

    1. Uncheck the option of ‘Merge all the backup files into single package when a backup completes’

    Please go to WPvivid plugin settings tab page and set up the configurations below:

    Advanced settings:

    1. Database access method: PDO
    2. Compression method: PCLzip

    Backup performance mode: Custom

    1. Compress files every: 100 MB
    2. Exclude the files which are larger than: 200MB
    3. PHP script execution timeout for backup: 300 seconds
    4. PHP memory limit for a backup task: 512 or 1024 MB (ensure it is higher than the total size of your database)
    5. The number of files compressed to the backup zip each time: 300
    6. Split a sql file every this size: 100 MB
    7. Chunk size : 512 KB

    After applying these changes, please let us know if the auto-migration completes successfully.

    Alternatively, you can create a backup of your source site and manually upload it to the target site to perform a restore.
