# Minify CSS Files Issue

 * I’m not sure if you’ve come across this issue yet, but when the Minify CSS Files
   option is turned on, it removes the unit property from the CSS custom properties
   fallback value.
 * For example, a variable such as ​var(–margin, 0px)​ is changed (when the CSS 
   minify option is enabled) to ​var(–margin, 0)​ – without px unit. As a result,
   it breaks the layout in some themes (such as Blocksy).

 * Thank you for reporting this. We will look into it and do our best to include
   a patch in the upcoming maintenance release. Meanwhile, you can use the exclude
   functionality to have your site properly working.
