Minify front.js

    Why are you guys not minifying front.js? https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ is saying it can be improved.

    Besides that, I am having issues this plugin not working when I use WP Rocket for caching. I have to exclude the following files from concatention and minifying:

    /inhoud/plugins/responsive-lightbox/assets/swipebox/js/.*\.js
    /inhoud/plugins/responsive-lightbox/assets/fancybox/.*\.js
    /inhoud/plugins/responsive-lightbox/assets/imagelightbox/js/.*\.js
    /inhoud/plugins/responsive-lightbox/assets/nivo/.*\.js
    /inhoud/plugins/responsive-lightbox/assets/prettyphoto/js/.*\.js
    /inhoud/plugins/responsive-lightbox/assets/tosrus/js/.*\.js
    /inhoud/plugins/responsive-lightbox/js/.*\.js

    We suggest you use Autoptimize for JS minification and compression.
    No other JS minification tool works well for us, not even WP Rocket.

    Besides that it will work for all your theme files and other plugins.

    Sorry, but this is your plugin which is not compatible with a MAJOR caching plugin.

    Shouldn’t you fix this instead of telling me not to use WP Rocket that works on everything else?

    If you ask me, your first response should be that you are looking into it to fix it.

    All Responsive Lihghtbox’s scripts are enqueued using WordPress native methods, so there’s no room for incompatibility or a need of a fix.

    It’s the caching plugin that should handle that. WP Rocket is a great caching plugin but from our WordPress development experience Autoptimize performs best for this specific task (js optimization). So in most cases we use both of them (whethere there is Responsive Lightbox installed or not).

    Your plugin is consistently flagged in Google PageSpeed Insights because /js/front.js is not minified. This could drive users away from your plugin = not good!

    Can minify all dist files in the next update please.

    Yep, that will be done in the upcoming RL 2.0 release we’re working on.

    Too late for me, will not be using the plugin anymore.
