# Missing Alt Text

 * I am running an audit for a client website.
 * When running the audit it tells me the following code: <raw data> image/gif Missing
   Alt Text. I use SEOPowersuite
 * I am working on the plugin woocommerce. I added the alt texts of each product
   image in the media tab, but for some reason, the tool is not detecting them.

 * The tags are there using another format: [https://d.pr/i/2Ux0iQ](https://d.pr/i/2Ux0iQ)–
   most SEO plugins only know the classic alt image tag. That is why you get the
   error notice.
