 * The author name not appeared on homepage in post meta data, but appeared in single
   posts. How can I show it also on homepage?

 * It’s not strange to me, nor it is the first time I’ve seen that advice after 
   spending 5+ years using the forums.

 * Thanks Andrew, actually I don’t need the child theme on this website, just I 
   need to learn how can I show author on homepage, I don’t care if updates remove
   it.
