# Missing categories on write post

 * I have aboue 250 categories and I had no issues with WO 1.5
 * Since I upgraded to 2.0.2, the write/edit post page (i.e. post.php) does not 
   display all categories.
 * It shows most categories, but some are simply missing.
 * When editing a post that is already in a missing category it is not visibly marked
   as belonging to the category – I have checked and the HTML for the checkbox is
   completely missing. However saving it again with alterations does not move it
   out of the category.

 * I found [existing thread](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/61255) on the same
   topic, with a fix.
 * I do think the default limit is far too low. I wonder if a limit is really necessary:
   if there are more than 100 rows in the categories table, it is probably because
   more than a 100 categories have been created; if they have been created they 
   should be shown.
