Missing Comment/ Rating on Some Cards

    Hello,

    I have several cards that do not display the ability to comment with a rating, but some that do. My template setting has always been set to allow this. It’s happening on both new posts and posts that had a recipe card imported from Create (mediavine).

    I linked to an imported post with this issue, but here is an example of a post that was only ever created with wprm: https://www.bonappeteach.com/pellet-smoker-brisket-recipe/

    Is the problem that there is no comment section at all? The comment form is handled by WordPress itself. We just add the stars to it.

    Check the Settings > Discussion page to make sure comments are enabled. There is a setting to automatically close comments after X days that might be causing this, for example.

    Would this still be the case if some posts have the ability to rate/ comment on some of my recipe cards but not on all?

    Yes. It’s not a WPRM thing. I assume you can’t leave a comment for those posts when WP Recipe Maker is deactivated either?

    Did you check that settings page? Is it set to close the comment section after X days? If the comment section is closed, the comment form is gone so no-one can comment on the post (and leave a star rating while doing that).
