# Missing dashboard sidebar navigation

 * Just upgraded to 2.7 RC2 and I don’t see a Navigation sidebar in my dashboard(
   FF or IE). Any thoughts?

 * Is the left navigation in a collapsed state? Someone else had a similar problem
   that was caused by their firewall.

 * I have this same problem, but I’m not even seeing a collapsed state at all. I’m
   using FireFox & I don’t have a firewall block.
    Edited to add: This problem is
   in my Admin menu. I can’t see anything except the large squares that show up 
   in the middle.

 * If you are running the Admin Drop Down Menu WordPress Plugin, or another Plugin
   that interacts with the Administration Panel’s menu navigation, it could be causing

 * Deactivated Lighter Menus and it’s now showing up. For some reason I thought 
   the plugin was already deactivated so I didn’t think to check it.
