   the description from the meta description my SEO plugin sets?

 * The description field is absolutely supported out of the box but is using the
   default WordPress content/excerpt to populate it. I suspect that the SEO plugin
   is modifying this behavior for all feeds. In our next release, we will be adding
   a number of actions and filters so you will be able to modify this logic for 
   your specific needs. Once those are available, we can provide an example for 
   this use case.

 * Sounds great, I manually edited everything for now, also left a comment on y’alls
   github repo. Looking forward to the next version.
