# .Missing editing tools after moving wordpress.

 * Hello Masters of the code …
 * … I just moved wordpress to my root-folder. Everything works perfectly fine, 
   except that the tools in edit post/page are suddenly missing (Visual Mode) …
 * Any ideas what could be wrong?
 * Please help!

 * Newest development: Updated wordpress to newest version and still no tools in
   post/page editor …

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress?
 * – increasing the memory available to PHP?

 * Yes, I tried almost all of the above (except increasing memory — will do now)…
 * Thanks for your suggestions, Esmi. I’ll let you know if the last straw (memory)
   will work.
