# Missing Element

 * Hi, I installed Functionality Plugin this evening. However, it does not show 
   in the editor. I went to Edit Functions and a white page with the following:
 * No such file exists! Double check the name and try again.
 * I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It still will not work.

 * It’s possible that this has something to do with file permissions on your server.
   Currently, the plugin file is created using fopen/fwrite, so if they fail then
   the plugin creation will fail.
 * I’m planning on seeing if I can use the WP_Filesystem API instead to see if that
   improves things, but for the time being I would recommend checking to see if 
   this is an issue with your file permissions or PHP/web server configuration.
