Hi,
Please ensure all server side and browser caches are cleared, with a forced reload. 1.1.6 upgrades Fancybox, and the assets you list are no longer requested by JS or CSS (and therefore said image assets are not included).
I have downloaded 1.1.6 onto a clean installation to confirm we have committed the correct files to ww.wp.xz.cn
Thanks,
Tim.
Hi,
I was running version 1.17 for this week.
All caches were cleared and verified. My website works fine for me on various browsers cached or uncached.
Still the issue remains for some users as per redirection logs:
Following cant be accessed/found:
…fancybox-y.png
…fancybox.png
…fancybox-x.png
However, I can access these png’s while following the links. Cached and uncached though.
Cheers
Hi,
thus i have had some time over the weekend to take a more detailed look into the matter.
Issue is quite critical since it generates a 404 error due to updates which renders Fancybox png’s obsolete and w3cache (default!?) settings.
If an admin is not running logs or monitoring he might not be aware that his site(s) are having this problem.
– Issue is related to a non refresh of the Browser Cache
– CSS and Media Cache expiry times were set to 1 year, no cache validation
– without returning users clearing their cache or reloading the page their cache would not refresh
Solution:
– Cache validation activated
I will monitor in the coming week and revert.
Cheers

Hi,
With any change to a plugin or theme, there will be code changes – this might include changes to image paths, CSS or JS, and therefore clearing W3 Total Cache’s cache would be mandatory for any site owner.
W3 Total Cache even goes as far as to advise clearing cache when updating a theme or plugin.
If that isn’t the issue, please advise and I will aim to resolve in time for this Thursday’s release.
Thanks,
Tim.
