 * Hi,
 * This plugin seems awesome, but I can’t use it for two reasons (Note that I would
   gladly pay for it if these functionalities are added) :
 * – No option to choose the environment variables. I already use a plugin (quicklatex
   to name it) which offers the option to use $ and $$ for formulas. Since
    1°)
   I write pdftex versions of my posts simultaneously, 2°) and already have articles
   and numerous formulas using $ on my website…
 * I cannot use [latex][/latex] it would be impractical.
 * – What packages does this plugin uses by default ? I couldn’t find the info anywhere.
   I tried the plugin, translated one article and all hell broke loose since I use
   some unusual packages…
 * It would be great to be able to add a preamble or to add a few packages and preamble
   definitions in the settings page.
 * Will these options be available in the future ?
 * Thanks,
    Johann.

 * Hi,
 * It seems that this plugin might not work well for your use case, because it is
   powered by Khan Academy’s [KaTeX library](https://github.com/Khan/KaTeX) to render
   LaTeX equations, which does not support some of the less common LaTeX packages
   or preambles.
 * A library that supports all of the features you need might be too slow and heavy(
   see: MathJax).
 * Although I have taken note of your request for $…$ rendering – it is a pretty
   common feature request.

 * Well, I do use Mathjax at the moment, and it is indeed very slow… That’s why
   I’ll try again your plugin when you’ve added the $ rendering. Maybe I can find
   some workaround for the missing packages.
 * Thanks for your reply.
    Johann.

 * Just so you know if you’re interested, I’ve made the move from Mathjax to Katex.
   It was a pain in the butt to adapt the code, but it was worth it :
 *     ```
       	Load Time First Byte Start Render
       Before	20,08s          0,3s	 	3,4s
       After	10,51s 		0,28s	 	2,76s
       Gain	-48%	 	-6%	 	-19%
       ```
 * (for the heaviest post)
    Those are awesome results Thanks a lot !
