    Hi there,

first of all thanks for your work on this plugin and except of one thing it seems to work for me.

I just installed the plugin to make my life a bit easier as I have no clue really about all this stuff.

After I installed this plugin I left it the way it is standard wise setup and my website didn’t show me any header and also some other stuff was missing on the front page like images and it showed me all news instead of just 3 (like I set it up.

When I change the JavaScript Options to “Disable JavaScript processing” ticked, all headers, images etc appear again.

Now my question is … ist that supposed to be like that or am I doing anything wrong or is the plugin not compatible with my theme?

And what impact does it have now that the “Disable JavaScript processing” option is enabled?

Thanks for your help and sorry for those stupid questions. 😉

    Best regards,

    Toto

    Hi,

Those are not stupid questions, but the plugin is for advanced users or developers.
You can of course try different options, but for your case it seems that there is a javascript conflict.

You would need to check the ignore list and read our faqs to understand it’s settings:

    Hi,

thank you for your quick reply.

Well, i am glad those were not stupid questions but I am definitely not an advanced user nor am I a developer. 🙂

I read the faq’s but didn’t really get it, tbh.

I just want to increase the loading speed of my website by minifying js and css and your plugin got good reviews. I think it helps anyway even with the “Disable JavaScript processing” unticked.

    Thanks again and best regards,

    Toto

    The relevant part is under:

After installing, why are some images, sections, sliders, galleries, menus (etc) not working?

You would need to see what files are being merged and add one by one to the ignore list until you find which one causes trouble.

The other possibility is doing what you did, disabling js processing… though you will not be taking full advantage of the plugin capabilities (but it works).

    Hi,

Ah ok. I will try to look into this again in a few days when I am back home.

    Thanks for the support. (Y)

    Best regards, Toto
