# Missing HTML & Visual Editor tabs

 * My student tells me that they’ve turned off all their plugins, changed browsers,
   logged out, and checked their user settings. I had them make me an admin account
   to check. I see the HTML and Visual Editor tabs.
 * Any ideas?

 * While logged in under the specific affected account, at Users -> Your Profile,
   make sure that “Disable the visual editor when writing” is not checked.

 * Strangely enough, they said that when they signed onto my admin account then 
   logged out, then logged back into their own, the issue was gone. No idea what
   happened!
