 * How come I’ve already published my very first post and yet, it doesn’t show?
 * I mean, I’m new to WordPress and all.. but I know it’s already published.. It’s

 * And yet, when I go to my homepage.. nothing shows. Weird.
 * I’ll appreciate any help. Thanks.

 * Its not there because its not there. The same reasons you dont have any categories—
   categories dont show until they have posts in them.
 * perhaps you saved it but didnt publish it.
