# Missing Multiple Posts

 * I noticed in the last couple months quite a few of my posts are missing, at least
   15. The only changes I’ve made recently is updating WordPress. The files are 
   no where in the posts section and the trash section is gone from the posts page.
   Even the photos on Pinterest that used to link to the missing blog posts now 
   has a random link to another page. My site is [http://www.onebroadsjourney.com](http://www.onebroadsjourney.com)
   and a couple missing post links are:

 * I contacted Bluehost and they said maybe I accidentally deleted them… I did not.
   I’d really appreciate any insight of how they were deleted, where I can locate
   the files and how to get them back. Thank you so much.

 * You can contact Bluehost again and ask about backup to restore missing posts 
   and pictures.

    hope someone can help in the next few minutes Started a website using singularity
   theme – for a test created category and post, added widget to sidebar right but
   when i publish it does not add so you dont see it if searched on the browser –

    I’ve noticed 4 posts from a certain category on my blog just disappeared.
 * I didn’t update any version or plugin, and they are marked published.

 * I ended up having to figure this out on my own. I spoke to 6 different Bluehost
   helpers and they notified me that a bunch of my files were deleted and there 
   was nothing they could do about it. Since I’ve paid for Bluehost to keep my files
   safe and backed up for the last 4 years this was very disappointing.
 * However after a week of my own research I finally found them myself. It was a
   plugin I had deactivated that deleted a bunch of my posts but the posts were 
   still in my bluehost files. I would almost always start with looking into plugins.
   Check deactivated ones and one by one deactivate/activate plugins to check if
   the posts show up.

 * We just lost at least 10 posts. What can we do? (except for migrating our site
   somewhere safer).
