After that you can try to migrate those orders from the staging to the Live site using a plugin such as the [WC Order/Customer Export](https://woocommerce.com/document/ordercustomer-csv-export/) plugin (or similar). * > Why restore to a test site and not Live? * If you restore to a previous backup, whatever DAY that backup is set at would be what the site is then set to data wise – you would lose any information from that day to today/day you decided to do the restore.
