 * Okay so I attempted to manually upgrade WordPress 2.0.4 to 2.1.3 as it was the
highest version that worked with my web hosts php version (4.1). After several
attempts and always seeing a internal sever error I went back to WordPress 2.0.4
from the backup files I made just before upgrading and now my pages are missing.
The blog posts and comments are all there but all of my pages are missing. Is
there anyway to get them back? Any and all help would be much appreciated.

 * Try updating your permalink structure. Pages are in the database table wp_posts(
   along with your posts).

 * I had the same problem, I did some fancy custom permalink, and one day my pages
disappeared. After changing the permalinks back to default, it fixed the problem
   immediately, _woooo_
