# Missing Post Author

 * This is weird. I am the admin on our group blog but my name in the **Post Author**
   drop down list box is missing but the rest of my authors are there.
 * How to resolve this? When I make a new entry, I can’t pick my name because it’s
   not there.
 * The problem started when I started accepting guest bloggers (authors) on my blog.
   So I thought of testing it out and changed their roles from Authors to Subscribers,
   and voila my name is there already but I need to have guest bloggers.
 * Please help. Thanks!
 * (I am using WP 2.6.2.)

 * I just stumbled into this issue myself actually, but only after attempted to 
   integrate bbPress. The missing name is an administrator with user_id of 2 in 
   my case.

 * I just started having this issue too. I thought it was when I upgraded from 2.6x
   to 2.8x, but apparently it was just before that when I added a 3rd Admin and 
   all subsequent posts have been under the 2nd Admin’s name — with options to post
   under Admin #3, but no ability to post under my name (which should be default).
