# Missing Post / Blank category

 * Hi everybody. WMP pretty good so far, but I got stumped by this particular issue
   I came across:
 * 1.) I publish HOME (category: WELCOME) to make it appear as the cover.
    2.) I
   click on it and it appears fine, text/image and all. 3.) Now I go back to the
   cover page and click on the navigation. 4.) I click on CATEGORIES > WELCOME >
   and **nothing appears, just a blank screen**.
 * I figured WMP is assuming that there are other pages inside the WELCOME category(
   which in this case, it’s just HOME since I want an introductory text in the cover
   page).
 * Has anyone found a workaround to this?

 * You are right, you shouldn’t see the blank screen, it does look like a bug. Can
   you please tell me how many articles do you have in the “Welcome” category, is
   it just the one on the front page?

 * Hi there anghelalexandra, I appreciate your prompt reply. Yes you are right. 
   There is only one article In the Welcome category, and that being the “Welcome
   to…” blurb in the cover page.
 * I find it odd and I feel obliged to populate it with another article (which I
   feel is a poor workaround). Any thoughts on this? Wonderful plugin by the way:)

 * Another alternative would be to move the “Welcome to…” post into another category,
   but it’s about the same thing. Of course, since it’s a bug, it will be fixed 
   in the next version (we are already working on v2.1.1), so you won’t be stuck
   with this workaround forever.
