# Missing "Remove Header Image" button

 * Hello,
 * There is a problem with the custom header function : there is NO Remove Header
   Image button in the customizer…
 * Of course you can manually delete the header image with the Media Library, **
   but this leads to a broken image in the HTML source code**… i.e. the source code
   still contains this :
 *     ```
       <div id="custom-header"><img alt="" src="http://mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/old-header-image-which-has-been-deleted.png" class="header-image"></div>
       ```
   
 * I tried to find out where the issue comes from but couldn’t spot the issue. Maybe
   it’s a ThemeHybrid core problem.
 * Any idea ?

 * My blog uses 1 header image. After trying an new one I was left with
    both old-
   header on blog and below it the broken image sign (looks awful in Safari/Opera)
 * My fix:
    1) upload new picture as header 2) notice your blog shows 2 “header 
   images” 3) remove the new image 4) the old will be only one displayed. No more
   broken image sign on blog
 * NB I notice you uploaded a .PNG, that caused my problem as well. Only .JPG as
   header.
