Second issue: Clicking “Compressing…” in the media library list does not work.
The third issue is a feature request: Is it possible to add batch operations in the list? I only want to select and compress the oversized images.

I cannot reproduce the issue with the second issue you described. Can you provide a screenshot of your browser console when you doing this? Are there any errors there?

No response means that the image is in the process of compression. Can you try to compress your image on https://squoosh.app/ ? Use the same options as in the plugin’s settings (no resize, no format change)

Just tested with TasteWP – works when you optimise image in the Grid mode, not in the List mode.
Please try that and let me know if that works for you.
Currently I’m working on an update and hopefully will fix bugs in the List mode.

List mode is now working properly. Thank you.
Additionally, I have a small feature suggestion: the ability to recognize and delete .bak files.
Do you mean to remove only the backup file? Will take a note on that, thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, I can delete the backup files after verifying that the images are correct to save space.
