 * The website for my customer was made by a third company that installed this plugin,
   and blocked his user account from editing almost everything. since he does not
   have a full admin functionality one cannot even disable the plugin.
 * this plugin is good in trusted hands but beware of the third party who can block
   you from your own website.

 * Good words, thanks.
    I don’t understand the only thing, how’s the plugin misuse
   by the third party hands is related to the 1 star plugin functionality estimation.
   Having administrator rights during site development you don’t need any plugin
   to restrict site owner, just assign him any non-admin role via user profile.

 * Hi everyone;
 * Hope everyone is doing good. **eva_log**, I do understand where you’re coming
   from, but at the same time, this is an issue of providing rating of one-star
   for a product that didn’t deserve it. The plugin is obviously doing what it is
   intended to do (by keeping people out of certain activity permissions), and you
   are unfortunately at the mercy of your previous web-developer’s set-up, **not**
   the plugin developer.
 * It is your website developer that deserves the one-star rating: as an outside-
   person looking in, I would hope you consider changing your grade for the plugin,
   and find your developer on Google and give them a one-star rating.

 * “_The website for my customer was made by a third company that installed this
   plugin_” That one says it all..
 * Really unfair of you to give a 1 star rating for a plugin based on the** misuse**
   of it from third party hands….
 * I completely agree with Roger Sanchez on this one.

 * [@eva_log](https://wordpress.org/support/users/eva_log/): You should remove your
   star rating and make a 4 or 5 star rating since the plugin works so well, that
   the third party was able to use it to lock off certain roles as advertised. Your
   issue with your third party developer is only related to that developer – they
   could have locked you out in other ways besides this plugin, so it wouldn’t stop
   them and doesn’t relate to the quality of the plugin itself.
 * Having used TONS of WP plugins for the past decade, I can say this plugin is
   solid and only deserves top reviews.
