# Mobile Menu Trigger Doesn’t Work

 * Hi,
    When I visit my site on a mobile phone or shrink the browser window down
   enough that the menu button appears in top right corner, that button doesn’t 
   reveal the Off Canvas menu anymore. It used to work fine, but it doesn’t anymore.
 * Things I’ve Already Tried:
    1. I tried turning off all plugins and it still didn’t
   work. (I turned them back on because my site looked messed up without them.) 
   2. I turned off all caching. 3. I disconnected my Google Tag Manager because 
   it looked like a FB event was firing when I clicked the Menu button (this has
   since stopped, but the button still doesn’t work).
 * Anyways, my website’s menu is completely unavailable to anyone visiting on a 
   mobile phone. I prefer not to switch themes, but I’m not sure what else to do.

 * Please tell me, if you use the Blocksy child theme, is there a header.php file
   inside of it? 🙂

 * Hi! Yes, I’m using a Blocksy child theme and yes, there is a header.php file 
   inside of it.

 * That is the problem. 🙂 You have probably modified it to include some scripts
   but haven’t kept the other code up to date.
 * My recommendation would be to port all of your modifications from the header 
   file to a specialised plugin that supports this flow, then delete the header.
   php file altogether. Alternatively, you can compare the file with the one from
   the parent theme and port the modifications to the file, updating it to the latest
   version, though that requires some advanced PHP knowledge.
