# Moderator Help Requested – Plugin Response time?

 * Hello,
 *  I have already developed a plugin (two months of spare time devoted to its development).
   WordPress was great up until that point – helpful codex, good examples, etc.
 *  However, I then submitted a request for access to upload the plugin to the plugin
   directory. The only info given on that form is that “Within some vaguely defined
   amount of time, some one will approve your request.”
 *  It has been 20 days now, and no response. I just want to know what my next steps
   should be. If I was rejected for some reason, how do I find out if that is the
   case? What should I include on a resubmission? How much longer should I expect
   to wait? If I resubmit, do I go to the back of the line?
 *  PLEASE get back to me. No one has been helpul yet in answering these simple 
   questions. Some insight into the process would make me (and others on the board
   with similar queries) much more at ease.

 * Well, you probably don’t want to hear this, but moderators have no more insight
   or “clout” into the plugin process than anyone else.
 * Personally? I’d resend my submission.
