Modifications being lost when updating

    When logging into my test account on this site, and then logging into my vendor account, the links on the dashboard are all on one line. I can see this being confusing to users. So I updated the links.php file to put each link on its own line. But each time the plugin updates, I lose that customization.

    In addition, I’ve modified the application-status.php file to explain some more to a potential vendor, but this is also lost with each update. Are there any ways to keep these files the same when updating the plugin?

    I’ve tried to save them, then reupload the saved files, however, I get errors upon logging in.

    Now, when I update WC Vendors and log in as if I’m a vendor and try to add a new product, I see this error on the product page:

    parameter 2 to be array, string given in /home/ponojewels/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors/classes/admin/class-admin-users.php on line 174

    Hello

    You should not be modifying the plugin templates. These templates should be copied to your theme.

    Please see the documentation here: https://docs.wcvendors.com/knowledge-base/changing-the-vendor-templates/

    The second bug was resolved in the next update available tomorrow.

    Thank you for the information. I’m still seeing the error when I log in after updating the plugin, however. When I log in as a vendor and click “add new product” I see this on the top of the page:

    Any update? Also, I added the directory to my theme, but no changes took effect when I customized it.
