 * I see that you have 4.41 nearly ready to go. Will that release solve below problem?
 * Did you modify the WP repository instance after the files initial release?
    All
   of my v4.40 files are date time stamped 31 Jan 2018 at 12:47AM when I manually
   updated the URE plug-in.
 * Wordfence Security Software is reporting:
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/
   user-role-editor/user-role-editor.php
 * First reported several days ago. Last reported at Issue Found Feb 12th 2018 1:
   46 am ET.
 * Details from Wordfence:
    Filename: wp-content/plugins/user-role-editor/user-role-
   editor.php File Type: Plugin Details: This file belongs to plugin “User Role
   Editor” version “4.40” and has been modified from the file that is distributed
   by WordPress.org for this version. Please use the link to see how the file has
   changed. If you have modified this file yourself, you can safely ignore this
   warning. If you see a lot of changed files in a plugin that have been made by
   the author, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to force an upgrade.
   Doing this is a workaround for plugin authors who don’t manage their code correctly.[

 * I have made a minor change at user-role-editor.php without change of plugin version.

   I made it this way to not force users to install update which is not required
   for them.

 * Hi Vladimir,
    I understand that something like this may be necessary. I am glad
   to know that there is a legitimate reason. Best regards, Gene
