# Modify featured shortcode template

    i wanted to know if there is a way to modify the template for the “featured”
   shortcode? I want to add some fields… I really thank you for your answer.

 * I’d suggest creating a new shortcode rather than trying to change the existing
   ones. Then wrap it in a small plugin that you can then use for any others changes
   that you need.
