 * The query in this snippet shows items from the same category in a WPBakery (formerly
   Visual Composer) post grid module added to portfolio posts.
 * I need it to show items from the same category of the current post (normal post,
   not portfolio post) in a post grid module added to the sidebar.
 * While this specific snippet is for the Total theme, the query tweak is independent
   of the theme, so this question is of common interest for the community.
 * How do I modify the query to suit my needs?
