Modify Sydney's the_content

Hello.

I’m new to this and I’ve been trying to work out how to modify the output of the the_content() function. I am using the Sydney theme and all page templates in the theme (except the front-page) has social media icons and links at the top of the page, how do I remove them?

I know that it comes from the output of the_content() function but how do I modify that? I can’t seem to find it in the functions.php file of the theme.

I want to make a new custom template called Plain that removes this unwanted social media share bar.
