# Modify Table column’s width

 * I am trying to change the column width of a table and there is no way I can do
   it.
 * I just uploaded 3 screenshots so maybe you can help with the CSS code that I 
   am not writing properly.

 * I get that error:
 * The entered value in the field “Extra CSS classes” is invalid.

 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * The “Extra CSS classes” field is not the right place. This CSS should go into“
   Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress. Can you please
   try that?

 * I managed to work it out i was doing it incorrectly. Thanks.
 * The plugin works well with Elementor. I will have to learn a bit of CSS though
   🙂
