 * I started a thread in the “Your WordPress – Strut your stuff” forum but the thread
was competing with my homepage in the search results which didn’t look very professional.
I posted about this last week and the post was actually edited by a moderator
to include ‘the title’ instead of my website name. Then another moderator must
have changed it back to my website title. But I don’t even think it’s the same
phrase the original poster stuartwider had it…

 * So what is it you’re asking again?

 * We do not edit posts on the forums unless there is good reason to do so. “Competing
with search results” is not a valid reason.
 * The policy is given here:
 * Additionally, as per your identical request [from last week](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/modify-wordpress-forum-post?replies=2),
we absolutely will not edit *somebody else’s post* because you want us to do
   so.
 * I suggest you stop asking, because the answer is no.

 * Yes, but the post was edited to what I had requested last week. But then another
person edited it again to what they thought it was originally, but it’s not even
the same as what it was to begin with. I’m sorry but that just doesn’t really
   make sense.
 * I guess I might have to file a request with Google with regards to the search
results but that would be disappointing…

 * When I said ‘thanks’ on March 19, 2013 the name of my website was edited removed(
from the first reply and second bullet point).
 * It read: ‘The title with the follow buttons underneath…”.
 * But then someone else edited the post a second time on or after March 19, 2013
to put my website name back in at the start of the second bullet point… but it’s
not even the same as it was originally..
