 * I’m not able to reproduce your problem. I put “[http://google.com&#8221](http://google.com&#8221);
   in the URL field and I put `<a href="http://google.com">Google</a>` in the Content
   field and the text was retained.
 * Are you on the latest version of the plugin and wordpress? What version of php?
   I think it’s unlikely this problem is due to the plugin.
