Morelink not vissable using template

Hi,
When I copy your template default.php to my theme sub folder: list-category-posts the morelink is not visible. I didn’t change anything to this template file. When I remove it or don’t use the template= parameter then it shows again. But I want to make some changes in the template file and need the morelink.
