Also some images become corrupted when converted to static. * Several tickets were open in the support forum and in GitHub forum. It was answered that the problem solved by using relative path but there are still not slideshow and images are not clickable even so I’ve used relative path and followed direction provided. * Results in Simply Static -> Settings -> Diagnostics -all passed except PHP option < 8 (7.4). My server provider is working on it . Reviews like this often leave me wondering if we should offer a free plugin on w.org at all. * In total, we answered 7 requests from you on w.org, created and managed an issue on GitHub (and proposed a solution), and even replied repeatedly in HelpScout now (even though you are using the free version and e-mail support is pro-only). * We also repeatedly explained that we are NOT logging into websites from free users – that’s a service we can only offer to paid users. * If we would offer that for everyone, Simply Static would have been abandoned by now, and no one would ever receive help because I couldn’t afford to pay the team (and myself) – that’s just not fair to other users (free and paid) * We try to do our best, push frequent updates, and make everything work for our users, but then we get rewarded with a bad review for a single plugin compatibility issue. * **JetPack Slideshows:** * Despite all of that, you can use the Slideshows from Jetpack with Simply Static– there are only two things that you need to be aware of: * **The Gallery doesn’t work with “Offline path”:** * That’s because of CORS restrictions in the Jetpack plugin, as it requires a webserver to use the interactivity API of WordPress * **You need to include one file from JetPack in Simply Static -> Settings -> General- > Include -> Additional Files and Directories:** * ```wp-block-code /your-server-path/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/build/carousel/swiper-bundle.min.js ``` * This one is only needed for the slideshow feature in Jetpack. Zip – don’ provide slide shows and not all pages are displayed.2. Local directory– Local Directory: can not write to Local Directory3. Simple CDN – Derpriciated.
