Sorry, at the moment that’s not possible. But as you say you can delete the booking in admin and then go to the Edit Event page and add a new booking via the Booking tab.

I’m sorry, but I still don’t know how can I add a new booking other than from the front-end, which gives my user an email I don’t want sent, because it confuses them.

If you go to the Edit Event page in admin, you should see a Booking tab towards the top right. Inside should be an option to add a booking.

Unfortunately when I “manage bookings” for a specific event, I do not see this button. My site is translated to Slovenian, but I hope you’ll get to see what I’m talking about from the screenshot bellow.
