# Moving Database

 * I want to move my website to a new server but I’d like to have a complete copy
   of it on the other server before making any changes to the current/active account.
 * I’ve copied all my files and uploaded my database but when I try to log in to
   [http://www](http://www).**newdomain.ca**/wp-login.php it accepts my login info
   but the page then goes to [http://www](http://www).**olddomain.ca**/wp-admin.
 * Clearly I’m missing a step. Any advice would be appreciated.

 * Accessing admin will always redirect you to the site_url. This is usually in 
   the options table and can be changed in the Settings screen.
 * Or it can be set by defining WP_SITEURL in wp-config.php
