 * Building a site from zero using plain HTML/CSS/JS mainly (www.arirangcroatia.
   com). Learning on the way. Just learned my hosting server don’t allow for any.
   php there except their own developments.
 * Thinking of changing to another hosting and moving to WordPress.
 * Have I lost what I’ve done there or there is some way of migrating all into WordPress.
 * Thanks

 * You’ll likely be able to rebuilt most of what you started on top of a starter
   theme, like [http://underscores.me/](http://underscores.me/) or [http://roots.io/starter-theme/](http://roots.io/starter-theme/)
 * Here’s a great tutorial on getting started with Underscores: [http://themeshaper.com/2012/10/22/the-themeshaper-wordpress-theme-tutorial-2nd-edition/](http://themeshaper.com/2012/10/22/the-themeshaper-wordpress-theme-tutorial-2nd-edition/)
 * As for the content, you’ll need to copy/page that into new posts/pages on your
   WordPress site. You can back-date them before or after publishing, and just make
   sure you copy/paste into the Text editor tab (as opposed to the Visual editor
   tab).

 * Thanks a lot for the lead.
 * Started from zero few month ago. Picked up a host service (Coffee Cup) that don;
   t allow any server side work except done by their own applications. Worked OK
   for me until I picked up the web basics. Then I realized all the limitations
   I had.
 * Now moved my hosting to HostGator to start from zero again.
 * Actually it’s not trough zero. As soon copied all the files there the thing WORK.
   Nice surprise.
 * Have another domain now. It’s arirang.hr.
 * I’ll follow your leads as soon I got though with admin etc.
 * Might come back with more questions… 🙂

 * Have been through the lessons. Things starting to make sense. Finally !
 * Have a decent idea about how to put what I have done into WP. However, need to
   go further then moving the existing stuff only .
 * Want to have on-line community around my wife Koran Guest House here in Zagreb.
   [http://arirang.hr](http://arirang.hr)
 * The main thing is booking. A private communication involved. Here is an example
   what another Korean Guest House does. Looking around I see it is a kind of standard
   way for Korean Guest Houses booking.

 * Want to have something similar. A language mix involved, English, Korean and
   Croatian.
 * What directions to take? Is that done by bbPress or something else?

 * bbPress is for forums, so I’d guess no, but there are a variety of free booking
   and language plugins available:
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/booking](https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/booking)
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/language](https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/language)

 * Don’t feel so confident to let booking/billing/payments being done on-line out
   of my “direct control”, by some database on some server, somewhere far away.
   Concerned about availability, flexibility and consistency of it.
 * Working on an EXCEL macro set to take care of the booking/billing off-line on
   my side.
 * What I’m looking for currently is to enable users and “administrators” to communicate
   on-line privately. Suppose some kind of password system to be involved. User
   to set a password on the post(booking request) he/she sends to us. Only the particular
   user that set the password and “administrators” to be able to see/comment/reply
   the posts. The “administrators” to be users delegated by the WP administrator
   as well as the WP administrator itself.
 * All other visitors are able to see the posts/replies/comments listing and timing
   but can’t read the posts they did not open themselves.
 * Not sure I’m making sense at all. New to blogging, forumming, WP, etc.
 * A bit oldie, coming from another world. Before landing here in Croatia used to
   be a turbine start-up engineer.

 * Right, there are quite a few plugins at [https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/booking](https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/booking)
   that allow you to operate the booking system in WordPress, fully controlled by
   you.

 * That might be possible via bbPress. I’d recommend asking at [https://bbpress.org/forums/](https://bbpress.org/forums/)
