# Moving from https to http

 * Hello
 * I have moved a web site from one host to another.
    Everything works well. The
   domain name is the same. All works well except for the images. The old server
   had a https but the new one only has http for the moment. Will be https later
   but for now, http. The images still points to a https url. How can I change this
   to a http ?

 * Use the plugin “better search replace”. Search for [https://example.com](https://example.com)
   and replace with [http://example.com](http://example.com) in all tables.

 * So there is no need to change anything in the database ?
    Just the wp files ?

 * The plugin will make the changes in the database. When you have a certificate
   on the new site, use it again to go from http to https.
