# Moving post?

 * Hi, I’m looking for a way to only move my post. The wordpress import gives me
   error which I fix them it something else. I’d like to try some other way in import
   post. I was able to import pages. But I’m still trying to move the post and find
   a way to FTP in the media library. The current website is a mess and I’m trying
   to make a clear copy on a staging website.
 * I have tried to clone the old site to the new staging site but the cloned site
   couldn’t even been cleaned up. It kept redirecting me back to the current site.
   There was no redirect plug in nor could I find any redirect codes when looking
   at files.
 * Any advice

 *  After cloning did you change the siteurl and home options in the _options table(
   staging database)? The new value in those two fields should be your staging site
   URL. Also you can check the wp-config.php file on your staging version to see
   if there’s any definition of the site and home URLs.
