Moving to a different theme

Hello Everyone!

I found a new theme that I love and I want to start building on that. However the current site that i’m using right now get’s used by my clients here and there. I don’t want to have it down for a couple of hours or so.

Whats the best way to do this?

It looks like I have to activate a new theme, then I can start to customize it to my likings.
