# Moving WordPress

 * I’m testing WordPress on www. mywebsite .com/test/ but when everything is finished
   what will I have to do to move it to www. mywebsite .com ?

 * Change the addresses:
 * Login > Options
    Change both addresses THEN move the files then it’ll all work

 * Do you have content on there that you wish to keep? If it’s just a test site,
   and you have created a theme you can simply move your theme over to the installation
   to where you want it.
 * Alternatively, you can check our Podz’s rather excellent tutorial on how to move
   another domain:

 * In principal it’s the same, just follow the guide step by step from backing up
   to moving your files and it should work. I tried it, and it was pretty flawless.
