# Moving WordPress

 * I would like to move my WordPress test site from [http://www.test.com](http://www.test.com)
   to another directory in a new URL on the same server i.e wwww.live.com/members,
   where “members” is a new directory inside [http://www.live.com](http://www.live.com).
   Please also note that [http://www.live.com](http://www.live.com) has already 
   a WordPress installation running on it if that’s something relevant. I would 
   really appreciate if someone could guide me on how to do the transfer in an easy
   and simple way;I have already checked the Codex page on moving WordPress [http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress);
   although it’s comprehensive but it’s somewhat confusing and I can’t really digest
   the information fully.
    Any help is much appreciated.

   real,they are imaginary. I’m really sorry if they happen to be actual live sites,
   I should have thought this before!!!
