• Hey, I’m pretty new to this. I went in and changed my URLs in the settings and then moved my wordpress files over to the public_html. Now all of the styling is gone and when I try to log into the admin it says bad request (invalid hostname). I’ve looked through different forums with similar problems and tried a few things, but so far no luck…

Any help would be appreciated 😀

Ok, I have the front end working, but I still can’t log into the admin. It keeps redirecting to the login page. I tried define(‘RELOCATE’,true); in the wp_config, but it gives me a 502 error

I do not know very much about this, but I think that only tells WordPress where WordPress is installed.

Is that possibly because your server pointing your domain name does not know where some or all of your WordPress is installed?

I fixed it! It does tell WordPress where the site is located. My problem was that in my wp_login.php there was a command telling my website to redirect. I changed the URL and it’s working now 😀

I get that same pleasure once in a while!

    Congrats.

Thank you ^_^ It does feel good to conquer something so frustrating.
