 * Earlier today I upgraded my multi-site installation from 3.2.1 to 3.3.1. My installation
   has custom themes.
 * When testing by adding a new site, widgets for Search, Recent Posts, Recent Comments,
   Archives, Categories and Meta appeared as in use and were therefore visible. 
   Why is this and how do I stop it? What has changed?
